This poor dog was discovered in an emaciated condition, with its bones protruding and on the verge of breaking through its skin. Despite its dire situation, all this canine wants is to survive and keep on living.
On November 1st, a couple who had just bought an old house stumbled upon a dog that seemed to have been confined for quite some time. Marisa from Coraço100dono took the underweight canine to a veterinarian as his bones were threatening to protrude through his skin.
It seems like Valentine was unwittingly trapped indoors because the gate was secured and there was no previous canine inhabitant to keep him company. It wasn’t until the new owners arrived that anyone even became aware of his presence.
Looking at our little one, we could tell that he had been dealing with parasites and fleas for a while. To make matters worse, he only had access to rainwater to sustain himself. However, despite his hardships, the determination in his eyes was evident. The next day, Marisa took him under her wing and brought him home. Before we knew it, Valentine’s story became viral on social media.
Vale is currently enjoying the appetizer he brought back, and Marisa finally took him out for a much-needed walk. Since being rescued, our little guy has gained a kilo in just three days!
Although he still has a lot of progress to make, he can now walk properly and enjoy playing with his friends. Additionally, he can now sleep in comfort on a cozy bed.
