Under the tutelage of Simone Filesi, a Roman in his 30s who doubles as Baloo’s owner and primary instructor, this exceptional dog has been developing his water survival skills since an early age. After undergoing a year of rigorous training exercises on both solid ground and in water, Baloo was equipped with a life jacket and enlisted in the elite lifeguard team. According to Simone, although these dogs may be easily distracted on land, they have exceptional observational skills on the beach.
